Project Overview

Infinite Mage Arena is a fast‑paced, split‑screen magic dueling prototype developed by Exanwo Studio. Built in Unreal Engine 5, this project explores the thrill of brutal one‑hit kill mechanics, flashy spell combat, and stylized gore effects inside a tightly designed fantasy arena.

Core Concept

  • Art Direction: Stylized realism — gore, impactful spell FX, and detailed ancient jungle ruins
  • Mode: Local 2‑player split‑screen PvP
  • Split‑Screen Layouts: Both horizontal and vertical split‑screen options supported for comfort

3D Character Showcase

A high‑quality stylized‑realism mage designed for readability in split‑screen and heavy VFX scenes. Built to be modular and performance friendly for local split‑screen builds.

Game Loop

Both players spawn into the arena.

Duel using spell abilities, dodges, and bounce pads.

Match ends instantly on a successful hit (ragdoll + gore FX).

Round resets automatically or via restart prompt.

Gameplay Highlights

Signature Abilities:

  • Ice Spear (RT): High‑speed projectile with spear impalement impact.
  • Spinning Fire Kick (RB): Fiery dash kick, instant kill on contact.
  • Lightning Ground Punch (LT): Mid‑air slam creating a deadly lightning AoE.
  • Bouncy Grass Pad (Y): Deploys a vine‑styled jump pad to shift combat flow.

OnE‑Hit Kill Combat

Every ability can finish a round instantly with dramatic ragdoll deaths and FX.
